Keoni joined the CSL as a Research Program Coordinator in 2024. They graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Psychology and Criminology and went on to obtain a Master's in Public Mental Health from Johns Hopkins where he studied the effects of incarceration on mental health outcomes for adolescents. Keoni's research background and interests are at the intersection of risk-taking behaviors, mental health services, and the legal system. Outside of the lab, they enjoy playing Dungeons & Dragons, soccer/volleyball, and speedrunning video games.
